Norman Giving BackGentleman Norman is a Philanthropist

Since the launch of my book in Spring of 2012, I have been humbled by the positive response I have received from so many people across this great country. With an appearance on Good Morning America and over 4,000 twitter followers, I am more determined than ever to make a difference!

As you may already know I am 12 years old. Although my doctor approves of and supports my travel and appearance schedule, I am planning on retiring on my 13th birthday July 10th, 2013. My younger brother Howard may decide to continue in my foot “paw” steps, when and if he masters what it takes to be a gentleman (he is working on some personal issues at this time).

Please join me in my two fold crusade. First, let’s get back to some old school manners and make our Grandparents proud. People, pull up your pants. Not by the boot straps – just UP! I am of the opinion that our underwear should NEVER show. Can we please put down our cell phones and have a conversation while sharing a meal?  Regarding social media: I love it but there is a time and place for everything. I challenge you to embrace the moment you are in now. If you are with someone look them in the eyes and be completely present.

Above all of this, let’s come together as brothers and sisters and find a cure for Alzheimer’s. We must remember the family and caregivers who are battling with the daily struggles of living with the disease need our continued love and support.

Remember, Good Manners never go out of style.
